Urgent cycling consultation – act now!

Have your say on the “Cambridgeshire Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan consultation”

Deadline: 13 July 2021, 23:59

Why is this important?

Fulbourn and Bottisham both have dedicated cycle paths out from Cambridge but the Wilbrahams and Six Mile Bottom have no safe routes on which to connect to them.  The very latest cycling and walking infrastructure proposal from our County Council (which shows possible routes for new paths) still does not extend to the Wilbrahams.  See the Proposal Map below.

Why are we still being left out?

Our Parish Councils want safe cycle path provision here, as do our District and County councillors.  Wilbrahams’ Environment Group agrees and will be submitting comments to the County.   This is an opportunity for all of us to speak up and ask for the infrastructure plan to include our villages as well.

The County may listen if it receives lots of comments from the Wilbrahams and SMB.

PLEASE log on and have your say!  The more the better!
