The Wilbrahams’ and Six Mile Bottom Vegetable, Flower and Produce Show

The Show now has a dedicated web page!

What’s it All About

A village hardy perennial, our Vegetable, Flower and Produce Show has been the signature annual village event for over 40 years. So long established and comfortingly familiar, it reliably flowers mid July every year, thanks to the dedication of it’s indefatigable organiser Rosie White. Over the last 26 years she has developed and expanded competition opportunities to incorporate arts and crafts of all sorts to run alongside the fiercely fought garden vegetable, fruit, flower and baking prize cups.  There really are opportunities for everyone and all can compete as long as they live in either of the Wilbrahams’ or Six Mile Bottom.

Volunteer Show Helpers Always Required!

Organising the Show is always a massive job and help of any sort on the day is vital, from serving tea and cakes, selling raffle tickets, distributing prizes, washing up, etc, etc, as well as essential help with organisational tasks during the weeks leading up to the event.  Please get in touch with Rosie if you would like to volunteer.  Contact: rosiewhite77@hotmail.com or telephone: 01223 881293 or 07757 982934

The full catalogue of competition classes was enclosed with the Summer issue of The Warbler and it is now also available to download from the new page on our Village Website. It is important that competitors read this.
