The Cantilena Singers at St Nicholas’ Church

The Cantilena Singers will be returning to St Nicholas’ Church on Friday 21 March for a concert of sacred choral music for the Lenten season.
They have performed several times at St Nicholas’ over the past few years and have always had a wonderful welcome. They are looking forward to coming back to the church to perform one of the great masterworks by Palestrina, his Missa Papae Marcelli. 2025 is the five hundredth anniversary of Palestrina’s birth, and it’s a wonderful reason to perform this beautiful mass, together with other music appropriate for the season.
