The Quy Hall Estate, which includes land in Little Wilbraham, is selling beef on Friday of this week  (6 December) from its small herd of Devon Red cattle.

We at WEG have a good relationship with the Estate whose owners Ellen and Henry gave a brilliant presentation in the Memorial Hall earlier this Autumn about their transition to Nature-friendly farming. Here is a Plug for them!

“Back by popular demand! Our pop-up beef shop will be returning to Quy Village Hall on Friday 6th December, just in time to stock up for Christmas.

Why buy beef from us? Our cows graze outside all year round, are grass-fed, are not given routine antibiotics, are conservation grazing on a special wetland habitat, are a native breed… Need we go on?!

Come and ask us anything. If you want to see them in action they are currently grazing the SSSI and our biodiversity field in Little Wilbraham, visible from the public footpaths on Long Drove and Short Drove”.
