Road Closure: Wilbraham Road Starting Monday 26th September 2016
Road Closure: Wilbraham Road Drainage and recycled Haunch repairs.
Cambridgeshire Highways will be carrying out drainage works to alleviate the flooding under the A11 on Wilbraham Road, and at the same time whilst the road is closed we will be carry out deep haunch repairs using a recycling of the existing material process.
Due to the nature of the work, deep excavations, and the size of the machinery being used the road will be closed for the duration of the work. It is anticipated that this will be for 14 days Starting on Monday 26th September 2016.
We apologise for the inconvenience that this may cause and will be working weekends so that we minimise the duration of the work.
Residents and businesses along the section of road being closed should contact Mick Flanders of Skanska our Cambridgeshire Highways partners on 07834 507010 to discuss access and egress to their properties.
Advanced notice boards warning motorists of the works will also be placed at the start and end of the scheme.
