Road closure week beginning 30 May for one day
The road between Great Wilbraham and Fulbourn will be closed for ONE day in the week beginning 30th May (next week), between the hours of 9.30 and 3.30pm, for surface dressing of the road. On the present schedule that one day is now likely to be Wednesday 1st June and if work cannot be completed on that day, contractors will return on Monday 6th June. This allows for two days of bank holiday and two weekend days.
The work is weather-dependent and if it rains work can be delayed. The yellow signs on the roadside are not clear at the moment and a request has been made for more accurate information to be provided, but of course that can be quite tricky. They are a day or so late at present with another job because of heavy rain on Tuesday.
