Queen’s 90th Birthday celebration in Wilbrahams
On the afternoon of Sunday 12th June the Wilbrahams’ Memorial Hall was packed with well-wishers for a grand tea party. Scones, cakes and tea were served to 150 participants while the Wilbrahams’ Community Choir entertained. There were fancy dress and portrait of the Queen competitions for the children as well as a raffle and sale of cakes all in aid of the Children’s Society. Local celebrity baker, Ian Cumming, backed a five tier birthday cake for the occasion. For many more photos of the day click here for Martin Gienke’s photos and/or click here for Chris Fell’s photos.
