Planting the sixth oak tree

The sixth oak tree funded by South Cambs District Council’s Zero Carbon Grant has now been planted by the Wilbrahams’ Environment Group (WEG) in the School Field in the presence of the entire school.

Head Teacher Richard Brown and a child from each class helped us and a stout fence has been erected around the tree to protect it from deer, footballs etc!
Richard told the children that, with luck and some care, their own children and their grandchildren will see the tree flourish and grow ever bigger!
