Planting on Church Street

The Well-brahams have been given permission by the Parish Council to plant the border between the play area and Church Street, from the Parish Council noticeboard to the end of the grass border.

This is great news, and we are going to begin preparing the ground this Thursday 15th April 1 to 4pm, also Friday 16th 1 to 4pm.

If anyone would like to join us, that would be marvellous. We know that many people are working and so obviously can’t help and that’s fine, we’re happy with a message of support. Also, many people don’t feel up to a lot of digging and bending but if you want to come along and have a chat and we can tell you about the planting that would be great. We can look forward to a break from digging while we have a chat with you.

If anyone wants to volunteer, please meet us at the notice board on either day. If you have one, please wear a high viz vest and bring your favourite spade. We can of course lend these if needed.
