Multi Use Games Court Update – It’s Coming Together Fast!

Great weather means great progress. The multi use games court in Little Wilbraham is coming on in leaps and bounds.  The hardcore has been laid and the posts and kerbing installed.

The second base is now going in as shown in the picture and from what we hear, the tarmac will be laid this coming Friday.  This needs a 3 week period to “cure” before the court is painted and then it will be usable a week or so later.

At this rate it will not be long before the sound of  bouncing balls fills the summer air.

Just to remind you that this court can be used for tennis, netball and it has a basketball ring. It is planned that the use of the court will be free and prioritised for Wilbrahams and Six Mile Bottom residents and you will be able to be book the use of the court online.  Details to follow.

We have also had a request to explore the future possibility of using the court for Pickleball.  If you have never heard of this game then have a look at the video.

Look out for further updates but we expect the court to be ready for use sometime in August.

Any questions or feedback just drop me an email.
