Little Wilbraham/Six Mile Bottom Road, notice of closures

NOTICE

Please be aware that on 22nd June 2016, we will be advertising a road closure for Six Mile Bottom Road/Wilbraham Road, Little Wilbraham., starting on Monday 4th July 2016.

Although this is advertised as an 18 month road closure, we want to re-assure you that this is not the time the road will be closed for.   It means that within those 18 months there will be short periods when we have to close the road to carry out carriageway surfacing works.   We will contact you closer to the time to give you more detailed information on times and the period of any closure.

Our working times will be 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday.   During these times, access to properties within the affected area will be maintained; however, residents will be required to liaise with site traffic management operatives and follow appropriate instructions / await site escort.   Some delays should be expected, but these will be kept to a minimum where possible and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.   At times residents may be required to wait for a short period for a section of work to be completed before they can access their property.

A letter has been sent to residents affected by this closure.
