Lighting the Star – Saturday 2nd December

This Saturday I’ll be ‘Lighting the Star’!

Starting at 6.30pm we’ll be serving mince pies, mulled wine and hot chocolate on the village green before the fireworks begin at 7pm and then culminating with turning on the lights on the big tree in my garden.

At the moment it looks like it is going to be dry – but cold, so wrap up warm!

Like last year the Great Wilbraham parish council have very kindly donated towards some of the costs of things like the mince pies and hot chocolate so a huge thank you to them. The event is all free but donations towards the costs of it all would be much appreciated. If the donations do outweigh the costs then I’ll share the excess with the PTFA, Well-brahams and the Memorial Hall.

There are some new lights this year so hopefully it should look better than ever. Looking forward to seeing lots of you there and sharing the start of Christmas in the Wilbrahams.
