This year we are sadly ‘retiring’ the old red 4-swing set, which has been standing proud in the play area for nearly 50 years! For safety reasons, we need to keep ahead of structural metal degradation, so we plan to replace it this year. Thanks very much to Chris Northfield who painted the swings when we overhauled the play area in 2019.

We plan to replace it with a 4-swing set by Kompan (the same supplier as the rest of the equipment). It will have two normal swings and a ‘duo swing’ to add variety to the play area.
