Gigabit Update

Here is a brief update regarding the build status of the Gigabit infrastructure:

The Cabinet on Mill Road, Great Wilbraham shall “go live” next week, around the 15^th of December.
A cabinet shall be installed in Little Wilbraham in the new year. Installation program in LW shall follow, after the cabinet is “live”.
Next week, CF may call people in Great Wilbraham to make appointments to connect them, so please look out for email/phone calls from them. Typical installation time per home is around 2 hours.
The week of the 20^th of December some homes will be connected in Great Wilbraham.

Important note for those who are interested in getting Gigabit broadband but did not sign up/order government voucher in March 2021:

For people interested in getting Gigabit broadband but did not/could not sign up in March 2021, there are two possibilities:

You could order the service (follow instructions in the document) and based on your location, you could get connected for a fee determined by CF.
There is a small possibility that you could get Gigabit broadband via the government voucher scheme (the scheme ended 31 March 2021), this will mean that your connection will be free.

If you are interested in either of the above options, please follow instructions in the attached document.

Instructions are only for people who have not signed up/obtained the government voucher. If you already signed up, no action is required.
