Church Tower project begins

There’s  ghostly air in the church as work on the tower project in St Nicholas Church in Great Wilbraham has begun.  This will provide a toilet, kitchen and ringing platform and should be finished by the end of June.

As part of the funding, a grant for the work has been received from Amey Community Fund (part of the Landfill Communities Fund). See the Spring 2016 Warbler for more information on how it’s effecting the bell ringing (p 57) and the Vicar’s take on building works (p. 58).
