Advanced warning – Newmarket Road closure

Newmarket Road traffic: Major Cambridge road to be completely shut for a week.

Newmarket Road will be closed to all traffic, including pedestrians and cyclists, for a week between 8 pm on Friday 26 March and 6 am Friday 2 April. An underpass will be built for pedestrians and cyclists beneath the road.

Newmarket Road will be closed to all traffic where it passes the Leper Chapel of Saint Mary Magdalene at the Barnwell junction in town.
