The Platinum Jubilee Beacon is the first event of the four day Jubilee weekend.

Preparations are well underway for our Beacon Lighting next week, on Thursday 2nd June from 8.30 onwards, at the Church Green, Church Road, Little Wilbraham. Beacons are being lit in thousands of towns and villages across the country to mark the 70th year of the Queen’s reign. This event is for all residents of  LW/GW/SMB – royalist or republican! BBQ and drinks are available, and a magician, musicians, and fireworks will add to the beacon lighting fun. 

NB There will be no parking available on the Green. Please walk if you are able, to keep parking spaces nearby for Blue Badge holders and allow access for the emergency services.
