20mph Limit… A Celebration

As many of you will have seen or heard, the new 20mph limit through the village will be installed next week, the week of 3 March.  This will vastly improve the safety for everyone – especially our children.

We have been fortunate to have had the support of our County Councillor, Claire Daunton and the Parish Council, and to have received funding from the County Council.  But above all, the success has been the result of a lot of hard work by many of you who have collected evidence, taken part in surveys and generally given your support.  Thank you.

We would like to celebrate this achievement and to thank all of you have been there for us.  You are invited to a come and join us for a drink and nibbles in the Memorial Hall on 8 March, 12.00 – 2.00pm.  The bar will be open, and there will be tea and coffee.

Do please come.  And bring your children and grandchildren.
